We've found ourselves coming back to the same thought over and over again.
It reminded us of something we never want to forget.
No matter how much experience we have, we never want to stop listening.
Every woman who walks through our door brings her own story, her own feelings and her own experiences. Every time we think we've seen it all, we're gently reminded that we haven't.
Maybe that's exactly how it should be.
Recently, something quietly reminded us of that.
We realised how easy it is for experience to shape our expectations before someone has had the chance to share their own.
It wasn't a mistake.
It was a reminder.
A reminder that every woman deserves to be met with curiosity, not assumptions.
That no amount of experience will ever tell us how another person feels.
Only listening can do that.
The greatest thing experience has given us isn't certainty.
It's curiosity.
The kind of curiosity that reminds us to slow down, ask questions and really listen.
Because if we're not careful, experience can also make us believe we already know.
We never want that to happen.
Every woman who visits us deserves to be met with an open mind. Not because we're unsure of what we're doing, but because we know that no two women are ever the same.
Listening will always matter more than assuming.
It has also made us wonder how often we do this outside the fitting room.
How often do we decide what another woman must be thinking or feeling before we've even asked?
Sometimes, without meaning to, we speak for one another.
We fill in the gaps.
We assume we're helping.
But perhaps one of the kindest things we can do is leave space instead.
Space for another woman to tell her own story.
Space for her to decide what feels important.
Space for her to simply be herself, without anyone else deciding how she should feel.
Maybe that's one of the simplest ways we can support one another.
We've realised that staying open is a choice.
Choosing curiosity over certainty.
Choosing to ask instead of assume.
Choosing to listen, even when we think we already understand.
We hope we never lose that.
Because every woman who trusts us with a small part of her story leaves us with something in return.
A reminder to stay curious.
A different perspective.
A little more understanding than we had before.
And honestly, we wouldn't want it any other way.
Perhaps the real lesson wasn't about bra fitting at all.
Perhaps it was about listening.
About remembering that experience isn't measured by having all the answers, but by never losing the willingness to stop, ask and truly hear another person's experience.
We hope we'll always stay curious.
We'll always ask.
We'll always make space for every woman to tell us what her experience feels like, rather than deciding it for her.
Because every woman we meet reminds us that there is always something new to learn.
And for that, we're incredibly grateful.
